Infrasound monitoring

Infrasound monitoring equipment placed in three observation points on the territory of Ukraine: Malyn (Zhytomyr region), Kam''yanets'-Podil's'kyy (Khmelnytsky region), Balta (Odessa region.) and in the Ukrainian Antarctic Station "Akademik Vernadsky".

Single microbarograph and / or infrasound group consisting of 3 - 4 microbarographs, noise-protected devices and equipment to collect and store information are placed in observation sites.

  

Fluctuations from the disturbances recorded in the frequency range of 0,003-10 Hz with amplitudes of the background level of 0.01 Pa at a distance from the source of more than 10,000 km.

All measurement data is supplied in digital form to the National data center, for processing and interpretation.
