Objective of activity

The objective of the Main center of special monitoring

 

The main purposes of the Main center of special monitoring are:

1) implementation of the National scientific and technical space program of Ukraine and other state scientific and technical programs, including programs of the national security and defense;

2) fulfillment of the international obligations of Ukraine towards the  treaties of nuclear tests banning monitoring compliance;

3) monitoring of seismic, radiation situation and geophysical events detected by the tools of the Main center of special monitoring;

4) operational and accurate providing the state central government structures, which are responsible for the national security and defense, as well as other interested ministries and departments with all the required information.
